GWERU-based businesswoman Smelly Dube has been awarded the Corporate Leadership Award at the just-ended Global Reputation Forum at a hotel in Westminster, London.
Dube was among recipients of accolades, who included Finance minister Mtuli Ncube who excelled in their respective areas.
This is not the first time that Dube has received global recognition having been honoured at the Leaders Without Borders annual business summit and international honours in the United Kingdom early this year.
She has also bagged the Pan African Changemaker Award in Enterprising and Community Development, African Achievers Award at the Queen's Gate in London as well as Women's Global Award, among others
Dube, who is the group chief executive officer of the River Valley Group of Companies, has been recognised, mainly for her philanthropic work and corporate leadership.
“It's a privilege to be honoured at a global level for the good things that you would be doing in your country,” Dube said.
The businesswoman vowed to continue supporting the underprivileged and promised to raise her philanthropy a notch up.
