GWERU-BASED visual artist Keith Zenda is exhibiting at Sang Myung University Future Centennial Hall, Gallery Wolhae in South Korea.
Speaking to Standard Style, Zenda said during his three-week stay in Korea he would use the opportunity to foster relations with the local artist with hope of promoting Gweru and Zimbabwe.
“This is a defining moment for me as I am now exploring opportunities outside the African continent,” he said.
“I am glad to say the South Korean avenue has at least opened my scope and now I view art as an investment and opportunity to empower others within the arts space.”
Zenda said judging from the reception, African contemporary art has a significant opening that should be made use of.
The exhibition, which comes to an end today was launched on August 25.
