Upcoming Afro-fusion artiste George “Snadie Joe” Nyamuraradza  is hoping that the music industry, which has been hit hard by Covid-19 regulations will rise again.

Snadie Joe is yet to hog the limelight despite starting the music career in 2009.

The 28-year-old has done collaborations with Maskiri, McHarris and Sherphard Chinyani, but it did  not yield any results due to lack of funds and poor management skills.

“I started recording at the age of 16 and have done collaborations with well-known artiste like Maskiri and McHarris, but it did not pay much as l expected,” he said.

“The Covid-19 pandemic hit hard our industry especially us upcoming artistes. Personally l was looking forward to move around networking with well established artistes but due to the Covid-19 regulations, my hope was shattered and most of the studios are closed.”

He added that his hopes are to see the industry functioning again as before.

“I hope that the industry will be back to normal just like other industries so that we realise our dream the up and coming artistes,” Snadie Joe said.

He draws his inspiration from Davido and Ex-Q and he is working on a single track tittled Inhliziyo.
