Rainbow Amateur Netball League (RANL) teams will converge at four different venues as the curtain comes down on the 2023 season.
The three Saturday bubbles will be played at White City, Mucheke and Harare Municipal Grounds while Khami Prison will host the last one on Sunday.
Glow Petroleum, who are the defending champions, are on the verge of clinching the title for the third time on the trot as they go into the final round of matches with 60 points.
Correctional Queens have the same number of points with Glow Petroleum but the latter have two games in hand.
RANL secretary-general Moses Gukurume said the season has been competitive.
“It was quite an exciting journey, our targets were to fulfil all our bubbles. However, we had some challenges midway. Most of our teams had financial challenges and they had to skip some of their games. We later managed to assist them to fulfil all their fixtures right up to the end of the season,” said Gukurume.
“As for the teams' performance, we had an exciting season in the sense that we used to have perennial champions, Correctional Queens, which are now fading giants because of the emergence of Glow Petroleum. Glow has played quite well last and this season and showed that it was a force to reckonwith, not only in our league but in the country. We are excited that it’s not just one team dominating the league. We havealso seen the emergence of Mambas challenging Correctional in the second position.”
He also highlighted that the passing on of Pauline Jani has left a huge void in the league.

Jani, who was a prolific goal shooter, passed on last month after an illness.
“Although we celebrate the success of this season, we are also quite saddened by the passing on of one of our prolific goal shooters Pauline Jani. It was a dark cloud on our season but otherwise it was an exciting journey,” he said.
The league is also set to host its awards ceremony on a date yet to be set.
“Its our tradition to honour our athletes at the end of the season. We will also be doing that this season although we don’t have the date yet. We want to wait for the conclusion of the season and sit down as a league and our sponsor to see what we can do to award our athletes in different categories.”
