A 57-year-old Shamva woman allegedly killed her husband following a misunderstanding involving a solar inverter.
Esther Bwanause is assisting police with investigations after she fatally assaulted her husband with a brick.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson sergeant major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.
"I can confirm a murder case in Shamva where a wife fatally assaulted her husband over an inverter misunderstanding," Chikasha said.
Enoch Mazvidza had allegedly accused his wife of giving his inverter to their daughter and a misunderstanding arose.
Mazvidza assaulted his wife with a wooden stick and she retaliated by stoning him to death.
He became unconscious after the attack and was pronounced dead upon admission at hospital.
