Concerned villages told Standard People that there was rampant theft of cattle in the area.
Indications are that about 36 head of cattle had been stolen over the past few weeks. The most affected areas are Zhulube, Kankabezi, Kalani and Tombo areas. The suspects would allegedly drive the cattle to Epoch area where they were allegedly kept at an abandoned farm for slaughter before selling the meat to abattoirs in Bulawayo.
