The organisers of the recent Bulawayo End of Year shutdown have expressed their sincere gratitude to the artists and fans that made the event a resounding success.

The event was held on December 27 at the ZITF Hall, marking the country's biggest end of year musical gig, headlined Winky D and Jah Prayzah.

In a statement released following the event, the organisers praised the "amazing artists" who "brought the house down" with their "energy, talent, and passion." They acknowledged that the artists' performances were instrumental in creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

The organisers also extended their heartfelt thanks to the "incredible crowd," emphasising their "love and support" as the driving force behind the event's success. "We couldn't have done this without you!" the statement read.

Looking ahead, the organisers have already announced the date for the next edition of the Bulawayo Shutdown as April 26, 2025.

"Let's keep the momentum going as we look forward to seeing you all again on 26 April 2025," the statement concluded, urging fans to "mark your calendars bigger, better, and louder".

The next edition of the Shutdown will mark the end of the annual Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.

The Bulawayo End of Year All White Shutdown has established itself as a highly anticipated annual event, and this year's edition appears to have further cemented its status as a must-attend for music lovers in the region and the country.

The December 2024 edition drew crowds from as far as Harare, as Harare couldn't host the annual HICC crossover event by Winky D.
