A stellar line-up of 15 Bulawayo artists has been announced for the highly anticipated December Shutdown concert, set to take place on December 27 at the Queens Sports Club.

This marks the 8th edition of the popular event, which has been gaining momentum year after year. Following the overwhelming success of the seventh edition, which coincided with the ZITF, organisers Harris Entertainment have curated a diverse and exciting roster of local and national talent.

Dispelling rumours of local artists being overlooked, the organisers have confirmed that 15 Bulawayo-based acts will grace the stage, with more names expected to be added to the line-up.

Among the confirmed artists from Bulawayo are DJ Asht, Kotwane Hikwa, DJ S’fiso, Zuluda House Maniac, Victor Bravo, Sandra Ndebele (pictured), Mzoe Seven, DJ Stout, Ma Nine, Feelg, DJ Ospa, Sancia, Boy Nino, Jaycee and Insimbi SeZhwane.

“The show is going on,” said one of the organisers, emphasising the excitement surrounding the event.

“It's a time for those who might have missed the April edition to come through and have a great time as we wrap up the year 2024.”

The concert promises a balanced mix of artists from various genres and regions of Zimbabwe.

In addition to the Bulawayo performers, the line-up also includes national headliners such as Winky D, Jah Prayzah, Killer T, Saintfloew, Freeman, Nisha Ts, and Silent Killer.

With a strong focus on showcasing local talent and creating a memorable experience for attendees, the December Shutdown concert is poised to be a highlight of the festive season.
