NetOne in successful networking Golf Day

"Thank you all for being part of this special day. May your drives be straight, your putts true, and your conversations meaningful," he said.

One of the biggest network operators in the country, NetOne successful teed off to their annual golf day at Borrowdale Golf Estate in Harare last week.

The purpose of the event was to network, recharge and reflect on their impact on Zimbabwe's digital ecosystem.

"As we gather today, we're not just playing golf – we're strengthening the connections that make our digital ecosystem thrive. NetOne's journey has always been guided by our commitment to connecting Zimbabwe, while aligning with both the Sustainable Development Goals and our nation's NDS1 priorities," NetOne Group CEO Eng. Raphael Mushanawani said in his speech during the prize giving dinner

"When we expand our network infrastructure, we're advancing SDG 9 through resilient infrastructure and innovation, while supporting SDG 10 by reducing digital inequalities. Our initiatives directly support NDS1's pillars of digital economy development, infrastructure enhancement, and private sector-led growth. Through our network expansion, we've enabled remote healthcare, digital learning, mobile banking, and agricultural information services in previously underserved areas.

"The game of golf teaches us valuable lessons about precision, patience, and persistence – the same qualities that drive our commitment to excellence in telecommunications. As we enjoy this day together, I encourage you to forge new partnerships and explore ways we can collectively advance Zimbabwe's digital future. Your continued support has been instrumental in our journey toward building a prosperous, digitally-enabled Zimbabwe.

"Thank you all for being part of this special day. May your drives be straight, your putts true, and your conversations meaningful," he said.
