Golf Zone: Vincent brothers donate to Kidzcan Zim

Local children’s cancer relief organization KidzCan has reaped the rewards from their partnership with the country’s top golfing  siblings  Scott (pictured, left) and Kieran Vincent ahead of last week’s LIV Golf Chicago, US.

While their performance at Bolingbrook Golf Club was not enough to save them from LIV Golf League relegation, it managed to raise over US$4000 for a good cause.

The partnership dubbed ‘Birdies for a Better Tomorrow’ saw KidzCan get US$500 for every eagle the two brothers shot and US$200 for every birdie.

In the end, the younger of the two brothers managed to raise US$2700 after shooting an eagle and 11 birdies in the three rounds while Scott Vincent sank eight birdies which translated to US$1600 as they tied for 23rd in the season ending individual event.

All in all KidzCan earned US$4300 from the partnership at LIV Golf Chicago.

“This week, I’m proud to announce my partnership and support for KidzCan, a charity dedicated to helping children with cancer.

“For every birdie I make, I’ll be donating $200, and for every eagle, $500 will go to this amazing cause.

“Let’s make a difference together, one swing at a time!  Every shot counts not just for me, but for the kids who need it the most. Follow along and support the journey—because every birdie and eagle brings us closer to a brighter future for these kids.

“I would love to encourage everyone to get involved by either sharing this post to gain awareness or following the link in my Bio to donate to this foundation that is making a positive impact in our community!,” the two brothers posted on their Instagram platforms ahead of LIV Golf Chicago last week.

The  Vincent  brothers  will  play  again  in the  LIV  Gol f Team  championship in Dallas for the next three days starting today.

However, the two brothers have a chance to bounce back into the Saudi-backed golf tournament when they take part in the LIV Golf Promotions event before the end of the year.

The  two  Zimbabwean  golfers  managed to  earn  over  a  million  dollars  in  LIV Golf  League  this  year  alone  with  Kieran taking  home  US$1,841,997  in  individual competition  while  Kieran  Vincent  bagged US$2,351,833  in   spite   of   their   relegation.

It  has  been  a  difficult  season  in  LIV Golf  League  for  the  two Zimbabwean with Scott Vincent finishing on position 50 while Kieran Vincent was 54th on the individual standings after the final event of the year.

Scott Vincent’s best performance during the season was a tie for 16th at LIV Golf United Kingdom after shooting 6 – under par in three rounds  while he had another sub 20 finish at LIV Golf Nashville where he was in a six-way tie for 17th LIV Golf Andalucía in Spain.

On the other hand Kieran Vincent managed just one top 20 finish after he tied for 18th along with seven other golfers in Nashville, US in June.
