Fachs College Celebrates Milestone

The college now offers a range of accredited programs across 10 schools or faculties.
FROM a humble beginning with just 10 learners, Fachs International College of Business & Technology, founded by Zimbabwean entrepreneur Farai Zimbango in 2011, has grown significantly.    The college now offers a range of accredited programs across 10 schools or faculties.   “In 10 years, our short training courses have certified over 10,000 learners. We’ve also engaged in charity activities and helped unemployed learners gain qualifications and secure employment. Our college has certified over 2,000 learners in the Northern Cape,” Zimbango told Newsday.   Zimbango’s journey from a young entrepreneur in Chivhu with a vision to provide quality education and training in South Africa to leading a successful institution is a testament to his perseverance and dedication.    The college’s impact extends beyond academics. Through charity initiatives and golf days, Fachs International College has supported unemployed learners in gaining qualifications and securing jobs, Zimbango said.   The institution founded in 2011 earned various accreditations before registering as a private college in 2018.   “We assure our students, stakeholders, and the public that Fachs International College of Business & Technology is fully registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training in South Africa,” Zimbango reassured, addressing recent media reports questioning the college's registration.   Students at Fachs International College benefit from industry-aligned learning programs, flexible study schedules, and a supportive environment equipped with resources to enhance their success.    The college offers a variety of accredited programs across five major schools: Business and Finance, Education Sciences, Information Technology, and Public Administration. These programs meet national standards, providing students with credible and recognized qualifications.   Looking ahead, Fachs International College plans to develop new learning programs, implement registered learnerships and skills programs, and provide robust support to learners and government departments in addressing queries related to learning program procedures.   “Our mission is to nurture the next generation of leaders, innovators, and professionals. We invite all stakeholders to verify our credentials and support our efforts in delivering quality education,” stated Zimbango.
