Simbarashe Maukazuva (27) was found guilty of culpable homicide by Harare regional magistrate Lois Mukunyadze on Friday.

Prosecutor Vimbiso Rundare told the court that on October 4 , 2020 Lovemore Muchechetere (deceased) was drinking beer with his friend Tapiwa Masuka at a local shebeen.

Muchechetere and Masuka later decided to go home, and met Maukazuva along the way.

The court heard that the duo exchanged harsh words with Maukazuva, leading to a fist fight.
