Miss World Zim 2024: Beauty with a purpose comes alive

Miss World Head to Head Challenge winner Nokutenda Marumbwa

The countdown has begun for the most prestigious Miss World Zimbabwe 2024 event scheduled for November 30 at the luxurious Siyekhaya Estate in Borrowdale, Harare.

The event will be graced by Nokutenda Marumbwa, the 71st Miss World Head to Head Challenge winner.

This year’s theme, “Beauty with a Purpose”, takes centre stage, highlighting the transformative power of beauty as a force for positive societal change.

It  underscores the belief that true beauty  lies  in  the  ability to  inspire, lead and advocate for causes that uplift communities.

Throughout the evening, the theme will be brought to life through compelling showcases, heartfelt advocacy stories from the contestants and moments that reflect the profound impact beauty can have when aligned with purpose and action.

Guests and audiences alike will be immersed in a celebration that transcends aesthetics, honouring the role of women as changemakers and ambassadors of hope in society.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the elegant estate, the Miss World Zimbabwe 2024 event promises to be an extraordinary evening that seamlessly blends Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage with the sophistication and allure of contemporary glamour.

The chosen venue, known for its stunning architecture and serene ambiance, provides the perfect setting for an event that celebrates not only beauty, but also the depth of talent, intellect and purpose that defines Zimbabwean women.

This year, the spotlight shines even brighter as  the  event  will be hosted by a Zimbabwean-born global star, Kim Jayde, who has made a name for herself as an award-winning TV host,  model  and  entrepreneur.

With her extensive experience in the entertainment industry and ability to captivate audiences around the world, she brings an international flair to this iconic event.

According to organisers, the Miss  Zimbabwe fixture isn’t just about crowning a queen; it represents a celebration of the values, strength and untapped potential of  Zimbabwean women.

It goes beyond the glamour of pageantry, highlighting the intelligence, resilience, and compassion of women who are committed to driving progress in their communities.

By empowering contestants to embrace their purpose and amplify their voices, Miss Zimbabwe champions the idea that beauty, combined with vision and determination, can truly transform lives and create a better future for all.

“Pageants play an important role in empowering women by giving them a platform to address key issues affecting our society. With Miss World Zimbabwe, we aim to find an ambassador who can proudly represent the country, its people and serve as a role model for the diverse women of Zimbabwe,” shared Miss World Zimbabwe director, Patience Muzanenhamo-Lusengo.

Miss World Zimbabwe has also created opportunities for sponsors to partner with the event, offering a platform to showcase their brands while supporting a cause that celebrates empowerment, culture and societal impact.
