Jameson Connects toasts Irish flavour in Zim

Jameson Connects will have a number of interactive fun spaces that offer exciting games, immersive experiences and art installations that capture the essence of Zimbabwean culture and creativity, the organisers say

The world-renowned Jameson Connects is finally making its debut in Harare this November at Jam Tree Restaurant.

Jameson is one of the world’s leading whiskey brands with Irish roots.

Jameson Connects is an event to celebrate the brand and also offer mouth-watering custom, culinary dishes, Jameson’s signature cocktails and a unique selection of beverages, the organisers told IndependentXtra.

“Jameson Connects has been held in many other countries across the world. The goal is to bring people together to share experiences,” Phil Chard of Point Black Africa, said. “Zambia just experienced their second Jameson Connects of the year over the weekend in Livingstone. This is the first kind of the event to be held in Zimbabwe. This will be an experience like no other … a celebration that embodies the vibrant and diverse culture of Zimbabwe, the spirit of togetherness and the joy of connecting with friends.”

Artists for the event include a star-studded line-up of local artists, namely ExQ, Nutty O, Tamy Moyo, Feli Nandi, Reverb7 and Rax the DJ.

“At Jameson Connects, the atmosphere is about positivity, friendship and unity. It’s a space where you can be yourself, have fun and make memories with friends, old and new. A number of prizes are on offer at the games section so please come ready to play.”

Jameson Connects will have a number of interactive fun spaces that offer exciting games, immersive experiences and art installations that capture the essence of Zimbabwean culture and creativity, the organisers say. It will also have Jameson whiskey tasting led by whiskey connoisseurs. Jameson boasts of four types of whiskies: they have the Classic, IPA, Stout Edition and Black Barrel.

The event will be held on November 4 (2pm to 11pm). Tickets are available at participating outlets during a Jameson activation or just buy a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey to secure a ticket.
