LOCAL economic empowerment movement Action for Empowerment Zimbabwe (AEZ) has struck a deal that will see the country, especially the youth benefitting on the economic and religious front.
AEZ president Alson Darikayi told Standard Style that his organisation was making inroads on the engagement and re-engagement drive as part of the country’s foreign policy.
He said, as such, AEZ has met with various diplomats, organisations and churches, including the consulate general and head of mission of Zimbabwe in Israel Ronny Levi Musan.
“I am happy to announce a new revolution, a new dawn which will usher a new church all the way from Israel coming right away to Zimbabwe,” Darikayi said.
“This is a big partnership that will also see serious collaborations between Israel and Zimbabwe on the economic front.
“Our ambassador in Israel, his excellency Ronny Levi Musan, will help us bring investors to Zimbabwe in various sectors from mining, agriculture, tourism and religious tourism, among others.”
Darikayi said the new church will soon be launched in Zimbabwe.
Musan confirmed the new partnership saying he will do everything to promote and develop religious and economic engagement between Jerusalem and Harare.
“The most important area is the church and I am representing Zimbabwe in the ‘Holy Land’ and I promise to bring the spiritual blessing of Israel to Zimbabwe,” he said.
“I am going to bring the church, the rabbi, and the church leaders to Zimbabwe.
“Rest assured that I will do all I can for Zimbabwe.”
Musan, who for close to decades has been senior consultant to the Catholic Church in the Middle East as well as many other international Christian organisations and ministries around the world, said the partnership with AEZ will incorporate economic empowerment of the youth through foreign investment initiatives.
Before his appointment to represent Zimbabwe in Israel, Musan was involved in initiating various projects and representing business companies and government agencies from around the world, seeking to promote and develop their joint business and interests with Israel.
Through the years he connected companies, organisations, diplomats, leaders and churches from all over the world to Israel, so that on the one hand they can bring the spiritual blessing of Israel to their countries and on the other hand, develop business relationships in various fields with Israel and its advanced technologies and knowledge.
Darikayi said the partnership was among a plethora of highlights for AEZ this year.
