LOCAL model Kudzai Matizha will battle for honours with a bev of models from across the globe at the Miss Global 2023 to be held in Vietnam in November.
The 20-year-old model was presented with the honour to represent Zimbabwe at the global showcase after she scooped the Zimbabwean Queen 2023 crown.
This was Matizha’s second crown since she began modelling last year.
She told Standard Style, that she was excited and grateful to have been given such an opportunity.
“Miss Global Zimbabwe is a title that I gained after being crowned the Zimbabwean Queen, so it is going to send me to Miss Global in November and I am super excited about it,” said Matizha.
“I am grateful that my modelling career is opening more and more doors and opportunities for me.
“My modelling journey so far has been well but hard at the same time but I am managing to push through as I am now preparing for the Miss Global pageant.”
Matizha joined pageantry when she contested for Miss University of Zimbabwe and won her first crown in 2022.
She went on to win The Zimbabwean Queen title, which automatically sends her to the global stage where she will contest with models aged between 18 and 35.
