FORMER Supersport United midfielder Evans Rusike might have found a new home at the ambitious Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Yadah FC.
Rusike is reportedly training with the Walter Magaya- owned team that snatched Khama Billiat ahead of Dynamos in the January transfer window.
Before joining Yadah FC, Billiat and Rusike were training together in Johannesburg, South Africa to keep fit.
The two had been free agents since leaving their respective clubs Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows respectively.
"He is very close to Billiat and they have been training and going to the gym together. He has been training with Yadah lately, and the club is ready to add him into their books," a source said.
Rusike has played for Kiglon, Zimbabwe Saints, and Hwange, before moving to Mzansi where he played for Maitzburg United, Supersport United, Sekhukhune and Moroka Swallows.
During Billiat's unveiling Magaya hinted on Rusike coming back to Zimbabwe.
"Coming back to Zimbabwe is a leadership move. He (Billiat) will inspire other players to come back to their roots. I believe that more players like Evans Rusike and even Ovidy Karuru might come back home and I believe they are still a cut above the rest," he said.
Yadah are yet to win a game so far this season after they played a goalless draw against giants Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on Friday.
The team has two points from three matches.
