MUSICIAN Tavonga Leo Magombedze, affectionately known as Leo Magozz, says he has managed to turn his name into a brand and is engaging corporates owing to the success of his Fire Emoji song he released last year.
On the song, he featured musicians Brian Jeck and Bling 4.
It was later remixed by an array of artistes such as dancehall chanters Nutty O, Buffalo SoulJah, and hip hop sensations Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Kae Chaps and Kikky Badass all featuring the originator.
“I truly appreciate the people I worked with on the song and all my fans. The song was a breakthrough,” he told NewsDay Life & Style.
Leo Magozz said he was working on a new four-track extended play, Practise What You Preach as he tries to make music that speaks to people and touches lives.
“I am working on an extended play; it is more than just music, I am trying to reach out to all the souls out there and connect people through music,” he said.
The singer said he had not had any distractions in the industry and desired to take his music to the international level.
Through various digital platforms artistes can upload their music and reach a wider audience.
“Musicians I wish to collaborate with are Jah Prayzah and Nigerian star Divine Ikubor, famously known as Rema.” he noted.
