FC PLATINUM’S new boss Dumisani Sisale has declared that the four-time Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions will rule the roost, come next season.
The Zvishavane side failed to defend their stranglehold of the league last season, finishing on fourth in a title race that was won by Ngezi Platinum Stars.
In winning the league title, Madamburo halted FC Platinum's juggernaut, who were going for a fifth consecutive championship crown. It was the first time in a long time that they finished the season empty-handed, having also failed to win the Chibuku Super Cup last year.
The reaction to that unprecedented failure was a raft of changes at the top of the club executive hierarchy.
Blessing Garamumhango was roped in as the new club president, while Sisale took over the reigns as the chairperson after Fabian Mashingaidze and Smartfin Techu stepped down as president and chairperson, respectively.
Sisale is returning as the club chairperson for the second time having previously held the same position when the club gained league promotion in 2011.

"This appointment is symbolic for me because I'm the first to serve as chairperson twice at this great institution," Sisale said.
"FC Platinum is an institution where all things are possible. We have set ourselves a journey so that we re-position our brand visibility, nationally and internationally.
"We want to make sure that all our teams compete for honours. We have done our homework behind the scenes to make sure that our teams compete favourably."
Sisale and his executive have promised to back senior team coach Norman Mapeza in the player transfer window. He revealed that he had received Mapeza's wishlist, and has promised to "do everything possible to make sure that they get the players”.
So far, the club has signed Mbongeni Ndlovu from Highlanders as a possible replacement for former vice-captain Gift Bello, who retired from football at the end of the season.
They are believed to be closing in on Herentals midfielder Davison Marowa to fill in the huge boots left by former Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona who has joined Simba Bhora.
The club is also on the market for a goalkeeper to replace veteran goalkeeper Petros Mhari.
FC Platinum have managed to tie down Juan Mutudza and goalkeeper Wallace Magalane after the duo extended their contracts with the club.
