DESTINY of Africa Network (Danet) Manicaland is optimistic of a bright new year after a successful 2024 year in which they partnered Makoni Rural District Council (MRDC) to secure more land in Nyazura.
This was revealed by Danet Manicaland chairperson Wilson Masokowere in a statement while appreciating the role played by their beneficiaries and stakeholders which led to 2024’s growth.
"We would like to thank our beneficiaries and stakeholders for your continued support of Danet housing scheme in 2024.
"Yes we had up and downs during the year but with your support we remained firm.
"Through your support we are expecting a fruitful new year and we will continue to engage each other," he said.
Last year Danet secured 483 stands from MRDC in Nyazura.
The co-operative's efforts have positively influenced the lives of numerous individuals and communities in Manicaland.
Some of the beneficiaries include vendors, the disabled and civil servants who have already started to pay for the land.
