A 25-YEAR-OLD Insiza man who allegedly stoned his father to death on Monday appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Nomagugu Maphosa facing a murder charge.

According to court papers, on September 7, Dube had an altercation with his father over an undisclosed issue.
It is reported that the accused stoned his father on the head several times before stabbing him with a kitchen knife, killing him instantly.
A police report was filed, leading to the arrest of the accused.
Police attended the scene and recovered blood-stained stones and a knife used to commit the crime.
