“Our work also requires that we engage influencers and local talents as a way to enhance our communications campaigns and I am proud to say I have worked with some of the big names in the local industry dating back to my communications role with the Red Cross where we roped in the influential sungura musician Alick Macheso under International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) endorsed ‘working with celebrities’ drive to amplify our humanitarian voice and enhance local fundraising,” he said.
“The same is true for various other successful campaigns we have implemented with private sector players.
“The goal is to remain at the top of my game so that whatever career challenges come my way I continue to deliver.”
Mazuruse said he was grateful for the support he continues to enjoy from his family including his wife and kids and attributed that ideal to his clarity of intent and unwavering commitment to excellence.
