MODEL Mitchell Simeon says her debut pageant, the Miss Teen Intellect in Bulawayo in 2022, when she was 18 years old was a turning point in her career.
“Growing up I used to check magazines, billboards and watch modelling shows and that would amaze me on how beautiful the models were, I believe that’s when my interest in modelling started,” said Simeon.
“Towards the end of 2020 an opportunity to participate in my first pageant came up and I took it.
“Despite being an amateur I enjoyed the experience and this was a stepping stone towards becoming a model, since then I have never stopped.”
Simeon is using her influence in modelling to do charity work.
“I have managed to run educational movements through an environmental club I started named educate2act and this has been the most impactful experience because it allowed me to communicate with young people within my communities and share a lot of fun and development ideas,” she said.
Simeon said she aims at working and collaborating with commercial brands and she looks forward to step on stages like Miss Universe. She also holds aspirations of becoming a lawyer.
