LOCAL music outfit Ubuntu Classical Band is considering rescheduling the release date for their second album titled Belibele.
The band leader Ben Moyo, aka Nduna, told Standard Style that the new album, which was initially planned for release in October, is now expected early next year.
“The slight change has been influenced by the need to refine the project and also our producer advised that we should give it time as it is also his duty to perfect the music before publishing,” he said
Nduna, who hails from Ntabazinduna in Matabeleland North province, said fans should not tire supporting the band.
“As a band we appreciate all the support we are getting from our fans and friends,” he said.
“Please do not give up on supporting us.”
“And in return we will continue with the good, thus giving you the best.”
Belibele means “it was forgotten” in IsiNdebele.
Nduna’s first album titled Ngiyazifela was released in 2020 and has a five singles namely UMariya, Kachembere, Ndiri Jongwe, Inini Naye and Usomandhla all released between 2021 to 2022.
