My Dear People
The delay in the start of the hearings of Gukurahundi, a period in the mid-1980s in which tens of thousands in the Midlands and Matabeleland perished through state-sponsored massacres, has shown the lack of seriousness by the Scarfmore-led dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion to address the issue substantively.
Revelations that there is still no budget for the hearings seven years after the scarfed one pledged to comprehensively address the issue is a slap in the face of those who bear the scars of that dark period of the country’s history.
The lackadaisical manner in which such a sensitive issue is being handled by the so-called Second Repubric confirms what I, your good doctor, has always believed, that this is just the regime wanting to be seen addressing the issue while actually doing nothing meaningful about it.
It would have been much better had the regime remained silent on the issue than pretend to be seized with the need to bring finality to the urgent need for justice and truth over the issue which is well overdue.
By not providing funding, it is obvious that the whole process is being deliberately designed to fail.
This is not only callous but also a huge disgrace especially after raising hopes for those affected that the issue is now being brought to finality.
Even having chiefs, the beneficiary of numerous trinkets including brand new vehicles provided by the Scarfmore regime and who have been willing tools in forcing voters to vote for the scarfed one, lead the process adds insult to injury.
But such chicanery has always been the characteristic of the probity-deficient scarfed one.
The repeated destruction of plaques set up in honour of those who lost their lives during this period only reinforces the belief that the Ngwena regime is paying lip service to the whole issue. To call the whole circus a farce is a masterpiece of the understatement.

The decision by the regime to make the land held by the beneficiaries of the land reform programme under 99 year leases, offer letters and permits to be held under a bankable, registrable and transferrable more secure document to be issued by Scarfmore and Co. has unsurprisingly been met with widespread suspicion by the country’s citizens.
It will allow black Zimbabweans who took the land without paying a dime to sell it to other “indigenous “ Zimbabweans, who did not get land.
This is after banks have remained adamant in refusing to give loans to farmers on the basis of these leases and permits, which could be withdrawn at any time especially by this regime which has made flip flopping a national pastime.
However, the major suspicion is that this will hugely benefit Scarfmore’s cronies who grabbed dozens of farms free of charge during the land reform exercise and who will make a killing by selling land they never parted with a penny to acquire.
When one considers that there has been no credible land audit to expose how many farms were seized by whom and where, one can only imagine how politically connected chefs with numerous farms dotted around the country will swell their pockets as a result of this new policy.
The declaration that priority will be given to war veterans, youth and women is laughable.
Who is to take stock that this is being achieved? Can these prioritized vulnerable groups be able to afford the land when it is up for sale?
As sure as my PHD, acquired in quick record time, this is going to create a major stink as like many other policies dreamt up by the scarfed one and co since coming into power on the back of guns and tanks.

The buffoon Dexter Nduna is back in the spotlight and yet again for all the wrong reasons.
Nduna, who was the beneficiary of the catastrophic incompetence of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, who announced him as the winner in Chegutu West despite having lost to Gift Konjana in 2018, has been stopped dead in his tracks in his risible and illegal attempt to take over vehicle parking management in Harare and other cities.
A company linked to Nduna, Team Chapter, was planning to grab vehicle parking management from Harare’s City Parking starting on Monday last week.
However he has had to withdraw his plan with a grovelling pathetic apology on microblogging site X, which was driven by sheer greed. This was after he was warned to back off.
That this follows his bizarre appearance in an academic gown at recent graduation ceremony at the University of Zimbabwe despite having not completed his law degree after failing some of his courses, exposes him for the clown that he is.
The UZ was forced to reveal that Nduna had not graduated. This is the calibre of character that the scarfed one associates with.
However, those close to him need to urgently reach out. I see someone who is crying out for help. Who knows what he will do next?
