My Dear People

The so-called re-engagement by the Scarfmore regime is proving to be mission impossible after it  came under attack from South Africa over the neglect of its health sector.

In a stinging rebuke of the Lacoste cabal, South African health minister Aaron Motsoaledi decried how the dilapidated state of the health sector of its neighbour has brought about a huge burden on its own health facilities as Zimbabweans go there in droves seeking medical attention that is almost non-existent at home.

He pointed out that even a service as basic as blood transfusion was being requested from Zimbabwe.

The South African Health minister pulled no punches as he revealed the embarrassing statistic that it is only African leaders who abandon their own health facilities to seek medical attention outside the continent.

He could have had Generari in mind who, in an act of mind boggling hypocrisy, castigated the country’s citizens for seeking medical attention outside the country at the expense of scarce foreign currency before he then flew out of the country for… yes you guessed it, medical treatment.

That Generari was Health minister at the time only reinforces the disgraceful double standards by the Scarfmore regime.

The outburst by the South African Health minister should be a source of great shame for Scarfmore and co for the way the health sector has been run down under their watch to the extent that  the country’s largest health institution Parirenyatwa Hospital had only one functional ambulance.

Given how sensitive the Lacoste regime is to criticism, one can expect an angry response from Munhumutapa offices, which could strain relations between Zimbabwe and South Africa.

This is occurring when the Scarfmore regime is still trying to mend a fractious relationship with Zambia.

This was after the scarfed one complained to Russia strongman Vladimir Putin of the country’s cozy relationship with the United States at its expense as well as the fallout from last year’s scathing criticism of Zimbabwe farcical election by the Sadc electoral observer mission which was led by former Zambia vice president Nevers Mumba.

The rebuke from South Africa is the last thing Ngwena needed at the time he is currently hosting the Sadc snoozefest at which he will assume chairmanship of the regional body.

Already reeling under sanctions by the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union, Scarfmore’s re-engagement drive is in danger of total collapse.

Zanu PF loudspeaker Chris Mutsvangwa has made further revelations that show that the Zanu PF party has turned into a circus since the illegal removal of the telescopic foresighted Gushungo in 2017.

Mutsvangwa revealed that the push by the youths for Scarfmore to butcher the constitution and extend his hopelessly incompetent leadership to 2030 is because there are forces, which he did not name, who wanted to coerce the octogenarian to name a successor now before stepping down in 2028.

However, he did not explain how asking Ngwena to overstay his welcome by going over and above his mandated term limit would solve this  particular problem and why as a result the nation should be burdened by two more years of Scarfmore’s sterile leadership characterised by a failed currency, high levels of inflation, prolonged power cuts and unprecedented levels of repression as shown by the jailing of members of the opposition as  well as human rights activists without bail among many other ills.

The power struggles within the Scarfmore regime, laid bare by the garrulous Mutsvangwa, clearly shows that the coup was about  greed for power and control of state resources, not this nonsense of restoring legacy.

Munopenga!!!

What legacy can be restored by this cabal of looters? This lot would not know what legacy means even if it hit them in the backside!!! Legacy my foot!!

Scarfmore must surely be living in his own world if his remarks during the Heroes Day commemorations are anything to go by.

He claimed that the country is enjoying economic growth. Hehehede!!!  Munopenga!!!

You can forgive your good doctor for enjoying a few chuckles from such hogwash. It does not take one with a PHD, like yours truly, to see that such claims are at best fatuous and at worst patently dishonest.

Scarfmore must be equating economic growth with the state of his own healthy pockets as evidenced by the way he dishes out United States dollars at public gatherings which include old men who do headstands in his presence.

The reality is that the newly introduced funny money the Zimbabwe Gold(ZiG) is rapidly losing value just four months after it was launched despite it being backed by forex and gold.

When Ngwena stops day dreaming he will see that instead of economic growth, the country’s business sector is under threat due to an acute shortage of forex and crippling power outage.

Added to that prices of goods are skyrocketing further dwindling paltry incomes and savings.

To think there are at least four more years of this ghastly tripe is surely a source of great angst among the majority of the country’s citizens.

 Munopengaaaaaaaa
