PREMIER league side Yadah FC are expected to unleash two of their new Brazilians' acquisition on Dynamos when the two teams face off at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo today.
The ambitious club signed three Samba Boys — Deivid Pereira de Brito (20), João Pedro Marques Barcelos (20) and Juan Luciano Farias (21) and were unveiled amid much fanfare last month, but their much anticipated debut was delayed due to work permit issues.
They have already missed two matches so far since joining the club.
However, coach Expense Chitukutuku said all the paperwork is now in order, and fans should expect to see the South Americans in action this weekend.
"The three Brazilians have added a lot of depth and have got good quality. We are still observing. They are definitely in the travelling squad. If nothing major happens between now and Sunday, then people should expect to see two of them playing. The third one is injured after picking a knock at training on Thursday, so he will not take part," Chitukutuku confirmed.
A source at the club yesterday confirmed that the two Brazilians will be in the starting line up.
Deivid who has been the most impressive of the trio at training, that is, is expected to start the game behind the strikers while Luciano Farias plays at rightback.
"Of course we are not afraid of the opponent. It's a normal game (because) they are a team playing in the premier league just like us," Chitukutuku said.
Both teams are going into the match with their egos bruised after losing their matches last week.
Yadah failed to build on their impressive 1-0 victory over champions Fc Platinum the previous week when they lost 3-1 to Chicken Inn last week.
Dynamos on the other hand, lost 1-0 to GreenFuel, a defeat that ended their four match unbeaten run.
Chitukutuku believes the presence of former Yadah coach Genesis Mangombe in the Dynamos technical team structures gives DeMbare an edge over his side in this encounter.
Mangombe, who is now the first assistant coach to Herbert Maruwa, was the head coach of the PHD Ministries owned team for years and is widely credited for introducing the tiki taka brand of football that they have been known for in recent times.
Dynamos will be missing five key players for the match for various reasons.
Midfielder Tanaka Shandirwa, on loan from Yadah and has been a vital cog in the Dynamos squad so far, and fellow attacker Denver Mukamba as well as defender Kevin Moyo are all suspended for the match after accumulating three yellow cards each.
Moyo has played every minute of the club's league matches in the current campaign.
To make matters worse, Donald Dzvinyai, who has been partnering Moyo since the injury to the now fit again Frank Makarati, is down with flu.Makarati is expected to partner with the inexperienced Tendai Magwaza on Sunday.
Winger Issa Sadiki, who is also on loan from Yadah will be another absentee for DeMbare as his contract does not allow him to face his parent club.
