Glenview North MP Happymore Chidziva from the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has been charged with rape after he allegedly abused a 16 year-old girl.
According to reports, Chidziva was taken to Budiriro police station where the minor was reported missing last week.
The alleged rape case is now being handled at Harare Central amid revelations that graphic evidence of the alleged crime has been presented.
Adult Rape Clinic at Parirenyatwa Hospital is said to have conducted tests on the victim that proved that she was raped.
