A man from Harare was on Friday granted a five year protection order against his second wife.

Jaden Musvika told Harare magistrate Johanna Mukwesha that he was being abused by his second wife, Loveness Mungate.

Musvika said he was receiving death threats from her.

He said late last year, the respondent went to his shop in the company of four men who threatened to abduct and kill him.

They allegedly told Musvika to leave the business to Mungate if he wanted to save his life.

He alleged that Mungate would on several occasions frequent his shop to take some goods by force.

In her response, Mungate alleged that Musvika was an irresponsible father.

Mungate said she went to the shop to demand money for the upkeep of their minor child.

Mukwesha told Mungate ordered Mungate to stop harassing and threatening Musvika.
