FORMER Gokwe acting Chief Nemangwe Mika Katyavazungu has had his vehicle attached after he was dragged to court by disgruntled villagers for his questionable rulings at the traditional court.
The villagers, Joshua and Tongai Makombe, Fanny Gora, Shepherd Chwome, Musafare Takaenda and Sammy Kujacha, were being represented by the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights Tinashe Chinopfukutwa and Kelvin Kubaya.

Katyavazungu, who lost the chieftainship to the late Peter Muchabeta, presided over the cases where he ordered the villagers to pay fines in cash or kind.
However in a notice of attachment dated February 2 and obtained by the villagers, the sheriff was ordered to attach a Toyota Hilux twin cab belonging to the former acting chief.
According to court documents, Joshua of Zumbika village lost cattle valued US$2 800 on August 17, 2022.
