Fumati Engineers, whose signature projects include the Walter Magaya-owned The Heart Stadium in Waterfalls, Harare, has set its sights on conquering the region with its unparalleled general, structural and mechanical engineering as well as steel fabrication workmanship.

The Tinashe Changweya-founded company is fast becoming a market leader in the industry engineering  industry by signing and completing major engineering projects and the young entrepreneur said their business scope is now regional.

“Its true that winners never arrive and while we are happy to have made a name for ourselves in the local engineering industry, we are not going to sit on our laurels” Changweya said.

“We want to conquer the region and beyond and plans are already afoot to venture into neighbouring countries so that we entrench our footprint across Africa.”

The fast growing engineering company has served clients across sectors and Changweya said all those accomplishments speak to their clarity of intent moving into the future.

“We are building a legacy brand designed to make huge impression on the market across generations, hence the continued investment in our growth,” he said.

“We have acquired the best equipment and we are currently building one of the best engineering workshops at our Waterfalls base in sync with that projection.”

Currently working on Magaya’s other stadium in Kwekwe among other projects across Zimbabwe, Fumati Engineers continues to impress and grow in terms of outlook.

“Among other flagship projects, we are growing in terms of our service and project portfolio and we are currently working on Prophet Walter Magaya's second stadium in Kwekwe where I am proud to say beyond engineering we are also undertaking the construction work with our builders doing wonders,” Changweya said.

“The possibilities are endless and we are not stopping at anything to achieve our goals.

“We want to be a celebrated powerhouse that aides the economic growth and infrastructural aspirations of our country and the region.”

For its exploits, Fumati Engineers was named one of the Top Companies by the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network last Friday, rubbing shoulders with industry giants like Doves Funeral Services, Zimdef, West Properties, The Heritage School, Allied Timbers, ZB Bank, Alistar  Foods and Stanbic bank to name a few.

“We are a fairly young company and it gives me great pleasure that our exploits are getting honours from reputable awards boards like the Zimbabwe CEO's Network,” Changweya said.

“On Friday night we got named among the Top Companies in Zimbabwe joining a list that has some of the local industry giants some over a 100 years old.

“We are inspired and we wont stop at anything.”

Zimbabwe CEO’s Network managing director Tafadzwa Matsika said they were happy to recognise Zimbabwe’ young entrepreneurial talent.

“When we heard and saw the work done by Fumati Engineers, we expected to see an elderly CEO given their achievements, but I was surprised to meet the young and highly ambitious founder who at 30 has achieved so much,” Matsika said.

“This is exactly what our country needs and as a business membership network, we are proud to inspire and recognise excellence through our mentorship programmes as well as the awards.”
