The dates for the 2025 edition of the 2025 First Capital Bank Zimbabwe Junior Golf Open tournament have been revealed with the event expected to take place from April 25 - 27 at Borrowdale Brooke Golf Estate on Harare.
It is the fourth edition of the tournament which has grown to become one of the premier junior golf events on the African continent.
Top local final First Capital Bank have sponsored the event since it's inception in 2022 and have invested at least US$20 000 in each of the last two editions.
Hosts Borrowdale Brooke Golf Estate announced the dates on their official Facebook page this week.
"Save the date, The #ZJGO date is confirmed and locked in for next year as the next wave of young guns take aim from the 25th – 27th April, in the Zimbabwe Junior Golf Open 2025.
"More info to follow," they said.
Junior golfers from South Africa have dominated this event for the past two years in both the boy and girls categories.

Last year's, 2023 champion Devon Valentine from South Africa managed to successfully defend his title after shooting an impressive 7 - under par total and was two strokes ahead of compatriot Johndre Ludick on 5 - under par while Swiss Jules Haessig was tied for third along with South African Jayden Hoskins, a shot further back.
The highest ranked Zimbabwean was Vincent Chidambazina who finished the tournament in fifth place on 3 - under par overall, a shot ahead of Keegan Shutt, who tied for sixth with another South African Mitch Phigeland.
Valentine earned automatic entry into the 2024 edition of the FBC Zimbabwe Open Golf Tournament and managed to rub shoulder with some of the top golfers from across the globe.
He also will also qualified to play in the Irish Junior Championship event ‘Champion of Champions’ invitational, which will take place in Ireland in July 2025.
In the girls class Charlotte Millard was also able to defend the title she won in 2023 albeit after a sudden death play off with fellow South African Wood Olivia after both finished on 2 over par total 218 for the tournament.
The top six golfers on the leaderboard were South Africans and the highest ranked Zimbabwean was Miriam Masiya in eighth place on overall 16 - over par.
