The musician started as a backing vocalist for Mbeu’s Mhodzi Tribe for two years. She met Mbeu at a wedding in Norton in 2017 where she went up to tell him that she wanted to sing with him.
In August 2020, Feli Nandi and Mhodzi Tribe parted ways, with Nandi claiming that she was expelled from the group, a development Mbeu’s management dismissed as false.
She had managed to make six singles among them Ndega Ndada, Woman and Ndibateiwo, among others.
As a solo artist, Nandi recorded Mufudzi Wemombe with Trevor Dongo which quickly raised her to stardom.
“I am so happy with the support I have received as a solo artist,” she said.
“We have a great family and great people that support and appreciate my music. My solo journey has been blessed.”
