Keegan Shutt, the star amateur golfer proved that he is made of steel when he was crowned the champion at the 2025 Julius Robinson Golf Tournament which ended in Harare last weekend. 

Keegan carded an impressive score of 72, 67, 67, totalling 206 (-10 underpar). The score was phenomenal and is a demonstration that Keegan is a solid and well-rounded golfer who can win tournaments owing to his focus, tenacity, and resilience. The runner-up was Michael Wallace, who shot 212 (-4 underpar). 

On the team event of the competition, the Brooke Golf Club were the winners of the Julius Robinson Trophy, while Royal Harare Golf Club came second.

Fifteen-year-old sensation Miriam Masiya won the ladies' individual gross with a score of 224 while Tracy Humbira was second with a score of 239. 

On the Net event, Faclon Golf Club, who were the defending champions for the Wingate Trophy, were displaced by Falcon Golf Club, who found Ruwa to be too strong to contain as they were in a buoyant mood. 

The tournament was played at Wingate Park  Golf Club in Harare, and a total of 120 golfers  participated in the tournament.
