Triathlon Zimbabwe (TZ) will next month host a golf day fundraiser to mobilise funds for young triathletes taking part in international competitions.
The fundraiser is scheduled to take place on February 7 at the Borrowdale Brook Golf Club Harare.
The funds from the event will go towards the international tour costs.
TZ is looking to cover the international tour costs for the three upcoming events which will take place on March 15 in Johannesburg South Africa, March 22 in Swakopmund Namibia, and April 5 in Gqeberha, South Africa
“In addition to raising funds, the event serves as an opportunity to promote community engagement and encourage healthy living through the enjoyable game of golf,” TZ technical officer Roa Botha said in a press statement.
“It is a four-ball alliance game, which means it is in teams of four. Local businesses and individuals will be participating in the event.”
