MOTHERS are symbols of love, provision and security. Throughout the world, mothers devote their time and effort for their children from conception to birth.
Mothers are the most unselfish people.
Nothing compares to a mother's love — it is the purest kind of love. Mothers are their children's guardian angels, always loving and supporting them. Every child has a special place in their mother’s heart because she is the first person a child sees after birth.
This is why a child and their mother form such a close bond.
For a variety of circumstances, not everyone is lucky enough to experience a mother's love in their lives.
Those who remain in contact with their mothers must learn to love and respect them. A mother's love for her children can conquer all difficulties and overcome insurmountable obstacles.
Mother's Day is a day that is observed all over the world as a way to show mothers that humanity honours and loves them.
The purpose of the day is to celebrate mothers and their contribution to society.
Although the celebrations take place on varying dates in different countries, they typically take place in March or May.
Mother’s Day serves as a reminder of the value and relevance of mothers in their lives.
Given the multiple tasks a mother must complete in a household, she might also act as the family's manager.
She has to look after not just the practical components of her family's life but also the intangible ones, including providing a loving environment for her spouse and kids. In addition to managing the household budget and organising meals for the family, she does everything to keep her home operating smoothly.
Most crucially, she attends to children's needs, especially when they are young.
Proverbs 31:15-17, The King James Version, says: “She riseth also while it is yet night and gives meat to her household and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field and buyeth it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard. She girds her loins with strength and strengthens her arms.”
I am dedicating this copy to all mothers here in Zimbabwe and throughout the entire world.
I am honouring the importance and significance of mothers in everyone's life.
When life's storms hit hard, fathers may lose hope, but mothers will not.
I have observed over 70% of Zimbabwean mothers riding all barriers to provide for their families. The majority of informal or cross border traders are women, whereas men avoid being vendors. When a mother gives birth to a healthy baby, she begins to breastfeed. They face all odds in life and stand up to judgment.
They prepare wholesome meals at home while saving money to help pay for their children's education. Some of them even provide food for society's less fortunate children. We applaud their perseverance, inventiveness and capacity to motivate others!
A mother imparts virtues of love and care to her kids. She imparts healthy eating habits to her children. A mother gives her children the capacity for happiness.
The traditions and ideals of her family are passed down to children.
A child thinks their mother is one of the few people who understands them. When a baby cries, it is the mother's responsibility to figure out why. A baby's wailing constantly bothers the mother.
Mothers are first and foremost very responsible women. They undoubtedly have a significant impact on a child's upbringing. From birth, a child learns to trust their mother. They learn to trust others through this interaction. It may appear strange, yet it is true. A mother is like a natural power.
