Seed Co Zimbabwe managing director Terrence Chimanya has resigned with immediate effect after two years at the helm, the company said on Saturday.
“The board, management and staff would like to thank him dearly for his contribution during the period he was in the employ of the group and wish him success in all his endeavours,” group CEO Morgan Nzwere said in a notice to staff.
Nzwere said Felistus Ndawi-Gurajena will take over as managing director in an acting capacity. Until the appointment, Ndawi-Gurajena was the general manager for Seed Co Vegetable Northern cluster.
Patrick Mutandwa, group HR and Services director, will also double as acting GM Seed Co Vegetables.
Chimanya joined Seed Co in March 2019 as the group head Legal & Corporate Affairs/Company Secretary. He was named Seed Co Zimbabwe acting MD in August 2021, becoming the substantive head on February 1, 2022.
