BADBOYS Denver Mukamba and Lincoln Zvasiya were yesterday turned away from Dynamos’ training ground, casting doubt over the two players’ future at the club.

The duo went AWOL last week and did not travel with their team for a league match away to Ngezi Platinum Stars at the weekend.
Dynamos technical team led by coach Lloyd Mutasa said Mukamba and Zvasiya skipped training last week without communication.
To make matters worse, Zvasiya was reportedly spotted in Ngezi in the period he was AWOL, just days before the two teams clashed in the high stakes game, which Dynamos went on to lose 2-0.
Zvasiya’s alleged conduct infuriated the club’s hierarchy and reports suggest that they are ready to axe him.
The pair pitched up at the team’s training ground yesterday but they were immediately turned away by Mutasa who instructed them to write reports on their conduct, which they should submit on Monday.
Mutasa expressed disappointment over the behaviour of Mukamba and Zvasiya, whom he gave a lifeline after they were dumped by their previous employers.

“They came to the training ground but they didn’t train. We need to talk to them first to see if we can reintegrate them back or not. They can’t just go and come back whenever they want and continue with life as if everything is normal. If we do that we would be sending the wrong message to the youngsters in the team,” Mutasa said.
“We have rules that we expect players to abide by. There are measures that we take if such things happen. So we have asked them to write reports because we want to know their reasons for missing training ahead of such an important match. We can’t give our position before we hear their side of the story, but we won’t take this issue lightly. Their behaviour didn’t only affect us as the technical team, but also the board, the executive and the fans so they will need to explain to the whole institution.”
On Zvasiya’s alleged visit to Ngezi, Mutasa said, “He will give his side of the story and I will also call witnesses to bring forward their evidence.”
The two will miss the team’s crucial match against Chapungu at the National Sports Stadium, a match the Harare giants are desperate to win to sustain their title chase.
Dynamos plunged to third position on the log standings following the defeat to Ngezi, who subsequently shot to the top, while FC Platinum are second, with four matches remaining in the season.
Ngezi and FC Platinum are tied on 60 points, the former enjoying a better goal difference, while Dynamos are two points behind and two ahead of Chicken Inn on fourth place.
Mutasa’s men could be fourth on the log standings and five points behind the leaders, by the time they kickoff their match against Chapungu on Sunday if Chicken Inn beat Tsholotsho tomorrow and FC Platinum beat ZPC Kariba at home on Saturday.
