NEWLY-PROMOTED Scottland FC have tapped into the expertise of coach William Nyasulu who has been named as part of a strong technical team.
A former head coach and now second assistant, Nyasulu joins forces with Tonderai Ndiraya (head coach) and Naison Muchekela (first assistant), both seasoned coaches who played for Dynamos.
Ndiraya also coached Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum Stars. He won his first league title last season with Simba Bhora.
Nyasulu was behind Mabviravira's success although he later worked under Genesis Mangombe culminating into their promotion to top-flight league after winning the Northern Region Soccer League last season.
He started off as the head coach while in Division 1 before taking one ladder down to assistant because he does not possess a requisite Caf coaching licence.
However, with the support of club president and founder Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya, Nyasulu went for his Caf examinations in Tanzania and once he collected his papers this month he will be going for the Caf B licence.
His right-hand man and goalkeepers coach Bruce Matawu will be enrolling for his refresher licence course in Malawi this month. Together, they are taking the junior footballers through their paces at Alex Sports Club in Harare hoping to unearth new gems.
“Last August, I was sent to Tanzania for my Caf C licence thanks to the club president Scott Sakupwanya, everything went according to plan and I now have those requisite papers," Nyasulu told NewsDay Sport.

“The hierarchy continues to recognise my efforts at the club, it's no mean feat being an assistant to such celebrated names in Zimbabwean football, Ndiraya, a reigning premiership winning coach. It can only help strengthen my coaching CV."
With the PSL making it mandatory for all top-flight sides to have at least five juniors in their fold, Ndiraya has put his weight behind his second assistant, giving him the task to dig deep into their development sides bank, Division 1 and Division 2 teams.
"I am delighted to take on this role and identify young talent for our premiership side. My focus will be on scouting and developing juniors who possess the technical ability, tactical awareness and physical attributes required to succeed at the top level,” he added.
"By nurturing these young players, we will not only strengthen our first team but also create a sustainable future for Scotland FC."
Scottland has been on a buying spree capturing the country's best talent including reigning Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona and runners-up Khama Billiat and Lynoth Chikuhwa, among a galaxy of other stars.
