TWO second-half goals was all Chicken Inn needed to collect maximum points against Bulawayo Chiefs in tepid encounter at Luveve Stadium.
Substitute Malvin Hwata and Joseph Tulani were on the scoresheet for the Gamecocks.
Hwata, who came in for Genious Mutungamiri in the second half, shot past goalkeeper Prince Phiri in the 60th minute after he was set up by Brian Muza.
Five minutes before the final whistle, Tulani made sure of the win.
Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas was happy for the win.
"We deserved it, the boys played well especially in the first half; we were on top of the situation. All we needed were goals. Look at the first half, we created numerous opportunities. That is how we play for the past few games but not taking the chances. It was a welcome relief to collect maximum points against a very stubborn Chiefs side. It was good for us, at least we push ourselves up on the log table," Antipas said.

With the win, Chicken Inn moved to sixth position with 39 points, while Chiefs slipped into the relegation zone following the defeat.
The Ninjas occupy the last relegation cutoff point on 15th position with 30 points.
Chiefs coach Thulani Sibanda was adamant his side will not be relegated.
“We had a good first half but very poor second half. Energy levels fell in the second half. We did not play our game, I don't know why but we had a very poor second half. We believe we are not going to be relegated. We are going to survive. We just have to start collecting maximum points,” Sibanda said.
