DYNAMOS FC's struggles continued as they failed to secure maximum points against a rebuilding Bulawayo Chiefs side in a league match at Barboufields Stadium yesterday.
The Glamour Boys have won only three of the their last 10 matches, a worrying trend for coach Genesis Mangombe's side.
Yesterday, they came up against a side that was decimated, losing eight players in the July transfer window, but failed to collect maximum points.
The match got off to a promising start for Dynamos, with Issa Sadiki scoring a powerful strike in the second minute to give his team the lead. It seemed as if Mangombe’s men were going to overrun their opponents, with Freddy Alick striking the woodwork in the 11th minute.
However, Chiefs clawed their way back and youngster Panashe Shoko found the equaliser after 26 minutes of action beating Dynamos goalkeeper Martin Mapisa.
Unfortunately, Shoko did not last the full 90 minutes, as he had to be pulled out in the 53rd minute for new signing Migos Svinurayi.

The second half did not produce any goals, despite Dynamos coming close to getting the winner in the 75th minute. Chiefs' goalkeeper Prosper Matutu did well to deny substitute Valentine Kadonzvo from point-blank range.
The result is a major setback for Dynamos, who face ZESCO United in the Caf Confederation Cup in two weeks’ time. The draw means that neither team changed positions in the standings. Dynamos remained seventh with 30 points from 22 matches, while Chiefs maintained their 14th position with 24 points.
The Dynamos fans vented their displeasure towards coach Mangombe after the match, demanding answers from the gaffer on why the team continues to stutter and languishing in mid table.
