BULAWAYO Chiefs’ coach Thulani Sibanda is not worried about his team facing Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium where they draw large crowds.
Chiefs travel to Harare for the match on Sunday at the back of two wins.
The Ninjas have been on a rampage, winning their last two matches against Yadah at Luveve and Hwange in their own backyard.
They held Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo before their first defeat in Chisumbanje to GreenFuel.
But Sibanda said in the match against GreenFuel, he fielded players that had little or no topflight experience.
“Even the loss to GreenFuel, if you realise, when we went to GreenFuel we did not have seven players that played against Yadah. They had not been cleared. We used 17-year-olds when we played GreenFuel. They struggled playing away from home. But overall, I think we may not have experience, but we have got talent. Playing away to Dynamos; they are a big side, but we are not intimidated, we have gone to Rufaro and did things,” Sibanda said.
It has not been all rosy for the Genesis Mangombe-coached DeMbare in their start to the 2024 campaign and they got their first set of three points in their last game where they beat Bikita Minerals 1-0 at Sakubva Stadium after being held to a goalless draw by struggling Yadah at Rufaro.
After losing 2-1 to Highlanders in their first game at BF, they returned to the same venue for a home game against Hwange and were held to a 2-2 draw.
