FORMER Warriors striker Nyasha Mushekwi continues to defy age, performing at the highest level, as he eyes the Golden Boot in the Chinese Super League.

At 35, Mushekwi is impressive with his scoring instincts and is second on the goal charts in the league with 10 goals.

He is three goals behind his Zheijang FC teammate, Léo Souza who is known as Leonardo. The Brazillian has 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Mushekwi is tied on the same number of goals with Wu Lei of log leaders Shanghai Port.

Although, the former Caps United marksman has been banging in goals, his efforts have not helped Zheijang FC compete for top honours.

The ex-Sundowns striker has been one of the most consistent performers for the Chinese outfit.

According to transfermarkt, Mushekwi played at total of 112 games for Zheijang FC since joining them in 2019 and has scored 65 goals for them, with six assists to his name.
