SIMBA Bhora coach Tonderai Ndiraya has bemoaned the scheduling of their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against fellow newcomers Green Fuel which has been set for the National Sports Stadium (NSS) tomorrow.
After the long trip to Zvishavane, where they played Sheasham, they have been asked to kick off Match Day 7 after just three days.
And Ndiraya feels playing a mid-week fixture after such a long trip will affect his players.
Simba Bhora and Green Fuel are the only teams playing a mid-week game, perhaps to allow the over used NSS patch more recovery time.
The stadium had been hosting at least three matches per week since the season started and this week the same number of games will be played at the venue.
Simba Bhora have been using the NSS as they await completion of rennovations on their Wadzanai Stadium in Shamva.
“We are the only teams playing in the mid-week. Of course, there are so many reasons given to that effect, but it is really going to be hard on us,” said Ndiraya.
“We played on a Sunday and we will play again on Thursday. This is what is there we have no say.

“It is what it is. We go back and plan but it’s difficult to plan because there is no time. We find ourselves in this situation.”
Ndiraya and his men will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 draw away to Sheasham.
They face Green Fuel, who are looking forward to changed fortunes after making technical team changes.
They fired Bekithemba Ndlovu and Llyod Mutasa, before appointing Rodwell Dhlakama to the position of head coach.
They are currently winless, having managed just two pints from their first six matches in the topflight after shipping 11 goals and scoring just five.
Sheasham and Cranborne Bullets are the only other teams that are yet to collect maximum points so far this term.
