FC PLATINUM’S Donald Ngoma is on the verge of completing a dream move to Tanzania champions Young Africans and with it, a place in the 2016 Caf Champions League.
Ngoma has passed his medicals and Platinum confirmed over the weekend, through their official Facebook page, that the player was finalising his move.
Platinum lost to Young Africans in the second round of the Caf Confederation Cup, but the relations they made from there could turn out to be a huge financial blessing to the well-managed club.
In the first round of the same competition, they played Sofapaka of Kenya and spotted striker Fiston Abdul Razak, but cash rich South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns pounced on the Burundian player before Platinum could sign him.
Also expected to make a move is Zambian international defender Aaron Katebe, who is understood be at Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership in South Africa. Wisdom Mutasa and Walter Musona are also trying their luck at FK Senica in Slovakia.
The two Under 23 players have played two friendly matches, starting from the bench. They lost 2-1 SV Mattersburg of Austria with both Musona and Mutasa coming in as substitutes in the 55th minute last weekend.
On Saturday, they thrashed Ostrava 5-0 with both players on the field for 18 minutes.

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Matthew Rusike has also completed his move to Portuguese Premiera Liga outfit CD Nacional.
“The South African striker Matthew Rusike is already in the region, having come to Madeira in the early afternoon today,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“The player arrived last night, but the late departure of the flight Johannesburg – Frankfurt turned out to motivate the delay on the trip. Matthew Rusike signed with National a valid commitment for the next two seasons.”
