BY PRESTIGE MUNTANGA Bulawayo-based artists have come together and established a hub titled X-Studios, which seeks to provide a platform for upcoming artistes to record and brand their music at affordable rates.
The studio is located between First Avenue and Jason Moyo Street and is set to be officially launched next month.
One of the X-Studio founders Mzobanzi “Mzoe7” Mlauzi told Standard Style that they were aiming at uplifting upcoming artists and make sure that their records are produced on time.
“A lot of times artists find it hard to execute their creativity on time because of financial challenges. We seek to help each other to record and brand in an easier way,” he said.
“We also look at helping upcoming artists to record their works. X studios already produced hits like Ginimbi by Mzoe7, Master Zhoe – Tsunami, Chimz – Kwali and many more.”
Mzoe7 said the city lacked studios which limits music production.

“The place is a hub for artists where they can do listening sessions, record music, do photo shoots and videography, among others,” he said.
“The city has suffered by not having such establishments before but now we came together to say let’s change the game , let’s have a place for artists where you can get all music from Bulawayo.”
