Go Gospel International, which is headed by Frazer Chibanda, are the promoters who facilitated Sinach’s show.
The promoters’ spokesperson Yasha Chiriseri said the concert was a blessing to the country.
“There is grace upon Sinach where ever she goes and who ever she works with there are open doors,” Chiriseri said.
He said they have already seen the “open doors” while preparing for the show.
Chiriseri said the theme It’s time was derived from Psalms 102 vs 13, which says: “You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her and the appointed time has come. Thou will rise and have mercy upon Zion.”
Local praise and worship maestros Janet Manyowa, Minister Mahendere, Takesure Zamar Ncube, Mkhululi Bhebhe and Celebration Choir will warm up the stage for the Nigerian, who is also a senior worship leader at Loveworld Ministries.
Sinach is the first singer-songwriter to top the Billboard Christian Songwriter chart for 12 weeks in a row.
A number of corporates have come on board to partner Go Gospel International and these include Gateway Stream, RwandAir, Events Evolution, Mashwede Holdings, Bonvie Medical and Lighthouse Print, among others.
Gateway Stream Music will live stream the event through its Pay-Per-View platform.
“Our aim is to provide a seamless live-streaming event for online viewers and a unique experience for the physical attendees,” said Elton Kurima Gateway Stream Music manager.
“Local companies have an opportunity to reach their target market by taking up advertising space on our platform.
“Fans can look forward to an inspiring worship experience from some of the best praise and worship artists in Zimbabwe and Africa.
“We will be upholding and enforcing all the Covid-19 protocols to ensure a safe experience for fans attending the show.”
Gateway Stream Music falls under hospitality company Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG), whose venue — HICC — is being used to host the concert.
There would be a meet-and-greet cocktail with Gospel DJ unlocked where VIP gold delegates would engage with Sinach and the other artistes.
