ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Dean Simbarashe Chikotora, aka D Flex, has joined forces with contemporary musician Andy Muridzo to release a single titled Ngirozi, which is accompanied by a video.
D Flex told Standard Style that the song is all about appreciating the beauty of Zimbabwean women.
“Basically, Ngirozi is a love song and we are appreciating the beauty of women we have in Zimbabwe and the title Ngirozi defines the depth of the beauty,” he said.
The chanter said he used a different style in his new song which is a fusion of word play and rhymes.
“The tactical part about this song is it’s unusual and unexpected in the sense that we have a singing style which includes word play and rhymes,” D Flex said.

“This is because we took our time in making this new song.
“It took us a month to come up with this song, we took our time listening to our instrument and to come up with ideas and till to the point we choose our title Ngirozi.”
