HARARE-BASED graphic designer Nyasha Zambuko says his childhood love for art and drawing planted seeds that eventually led him to become the successful graphic designer he is today.
“I started my journey as a graphic designer in 2012 and my childhood love of art and drawing planted the seeds that eventually led me to become a graphic designer l am today,” he said.
“It’s incredible how those early interests shaped my professional journey.”
Zambuko said graphic design shapes how we perceive the world.
“Graphic design shapes how we perceive the world. It paints the unspoken emotions and impressions mankind hides within,” he said.
“Think of images, fonts, and colors; they are like visual cues that guide our emotions and decisions.

“Also the thrill of turning ideas into visuals it’s my daily dose of inspiration.
Zambuko said he believed graphic designing can be a high-paying job and shared his vision of becoming one of the leading creative designers in Africa.
“Graphic design can indeed be a rewarding path if you steer your creative ship wisely,” he said.
“When you’re the expert in your niche, gigs find you clients seek specialists, not generic picture pushers.
“You have to make sure you always and also show that you are capable of bringing in value to a client, that way you are guaranteed of always getting good paying jobs.”
