Gospel musician Blessing Shumba says all is set for the launch of his upcoming album titled Christos that will be launched at Golden Peacock in Mutare.
Shumba, who has over the years maintained his blossoming bass accompanied by deep biblical lyrics, said their mission was to preach the word of God through music.
The gospel singer is deep into evangelism and has over the years extracted his messages from Psalms that's why he earned himself the name The Psalmist.
"Our mission is to spread the word of God and we continue to release albums so that we spread the word,” said Shumba.
“I am happy that here in Manicaland we always come together to spread the word of God.
“In that spirit we are calling people and everyone to worship the Lord through music.”

Shumba said he was grateful to God because his music was making an impact on society.
"Music is dynamic and some musicians have come and gone, but by his grace we are still releasing songs and albums that are making an impact on the music arena," he said.
He has worked with different producers and has rekindled his romance with his long-time producer Lyton Ngolomi.
"We have worked with different producers and our wish is to bring variety to people. Yes, it's gospel music, but we need to make them feel good.” Shumba said.
